Sea defense systems
In a context of climatic change, sea-defense systems, especially dikes become an important issue because of the risks of flooding. The internal damage of these structures is not visible on the surface and may cause failures in case of extreme climatic event. It is therefore necessary to settle continuous monitoring systems for risk mitigation.

Main goals
- Assess and monitor the structures,
- Propose repair/reinforcement methods,
- Assess the efficiency of different solutions,
- Study the sediments movements.
