Materials
University Gustave Eiffel's expertise on construction materials is internationally recognized and has been acquired since several years firstly as LCPC and then IFSTTAR on soils, concrete (normal, fiber reinforced concrete, "green" concrete), steel elements (plates, assemblies, rebars, cables), polymers or composites. It dispose of several dedicated teams, large experimental facilities and expertise on these topics. The led works are concerned with the different stages: formulation, fabrication and execution, service life, decommisioning taking into account the specific constraints of offshore or coastal locations.
