Structures
University Gustave Eiffel is interested in the mechanical behaviour of coastal and offshore structures. It studies the behaviour of reinforced and prestressed concrete, cables, steel assembly (welded, bolted, or bonded), and composite structures. It also investigates repair and reinforcement methods of these structures.

Main goals
- Understand cables behaviour in offshore environment,
- Propose suitable structural modeling,
- Study diagnosis methodologies,
- Assess life expectancy of coastal and offshore structures,
- Assess repair and reinforcement methodologies.
